Treeplanting
In 1999 Clean up Greece became involved in a major reforestation program on Mount Penteli, in collaboration with the Attica Reforestation Directorate. Tree planting is carried out from November until February, while the planted areas are tended every April.
10th Youth Conference
“Clean up Greece” has established an Annual Student Conference for environmental issues. This offers children and youths the opportunity to express their views and to participate actively in current environmental issues in Greece. This year's theme is "The "Green" Home".
11th Eco Art Festival
«Clean Up Greece» established the Eco Art Festival in 1999, having two major goals. Ōo reveal the importance of culture and to prļmote awareness and respect towards our environment. Eco Art Festival was created as an idea in which environment, art and culture unite in an unbreakable way.
Clean up the World
As the official representative in Greece of “Clean up the World”, Clean up Greece participates in the “Clean up the World Day” celebration. Clean ups of beaches, streets and town squares are organised each September and October with the participation of many volunteers.
Corporate Social Responsibility Programs
In collaboration with personnel of supporting companies, Clean up Greece organizes community days dedicated to public welfare activities.
Nesting
Nesting is a project in cooperation with Women in Europe for a Common Future (WECF) according to which a healthy and safe environment is created for babies. Information is available on a special Website and on leaflets.
Calendar
Every year Clean up Greece issues its’ calendar which is based on environmental subjects.
Magazine
Clean up Greece has published the magazine with the intention of creating public awareness regarding environmental issues. It is distributed free of charge to individual members and companies or institutions who support the organization.
